St George, Utah's Hot Spot

St. George/Washington County is situated in the southwest corner of Utah, just six miles from the Arizona State line on Interstate I-15. St. George, the county seat, is the largest city in southern Utah. The area's population is now over 140,000and growth is projected to continue. With this said no one expects to see any slowdown of population growth or demand for commercial or residential building in all of southern Utah. "Washington County" has been discovered."

The city is nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by impressive red, sandstone cliffs. Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon are only a few hours away. Brian Head provides great skiing in the wintertime and a mountain retreat in the summertime.

Washington County is endowed with mild, low humidity winters with over 300 sunny days per year. The desert climate promotes year round recreation and leisure activities. St George is know as the "Year 'Round Golf Capital of Utah" and offers ten great, scenic golf courses.

Utah's Dixie has been recognized as an excellent retirement spot in many recent publications, and Washington County is one of the fastestgrowing counties in Utah.

Picture clear, blue, sunny skies, add a few white fluffy clouds, red rock mountains, green golf courses, picturesque walking trails, thriving businesses, great shopping and you've got a picture of living and working in the St George area. Join us "where the summer sun spends the winter!"
